Oh, also...I used to live in DC, and I have a few recs (if you aren't totally booked). The Phillips Collection is a great gallery, a little off the beaten track. You can follow a visit there with dinner at Bistro du Coin (right around the corner) and then grab an after-dinner drink at Russia House (also right there). All near DuPont Circle.
